Songwriting/Recording Camp teaches

hands-on skills and techniques that we use in our very own RnRHS studio! This camp provides the opportunity to compose, record, and mix a full length song using Logic Pro and Studio 1 music software. Students will work in groups to come up with song ideas, then mix and master the song together.

Topics covered in this camp:

• Song structure

• Writing meaningful lyrics

• Composing music

• Co-writing with others

• MIDI recording

• Live recording

• Digital editing (compression, EQ, etc.)

• Sound FX

Parents are invited to come in and listen to the song the students wrote on the last day of camp! All students will receive a digital copy of their song to take home!
