Rock 'N Roll High School's House Band, Poison Arrow, competed in Raleigh's Music Kids Competition this past June which was held at Tin Roof in downtown Raleigh. They won 1st place in their category as well as the overall prize for the highest scoring band. In addition to their original song "I Love You, I Hate You," the crowd would agree that their flawless cover of Yes's "Roundabout" was the song that brought them to victory.

This is their first year together as the band Poison Arrow. Previous House Band members Will Sain, Taylor Sharp, Maryssa Sharp, and Lindsey Godwin were joined this year by bass player Aidan Thomann. The band will be welcoming 1-2 new members for the upcoming 2021-2022 season.
