Candace Hescock
Candace started singing at a very early age and received choral and classical training
throughout school. During this period she was bitten by the acting bug and introduced to the world of musical theatre. She took both of her passions into adulthood where she received training through internships, private vocal instructors and a substantial amount of
experience performing on stage. In early adulthood she branched away from her New England home and military life brought her to the west coast. There, she received more acting and singing experience as a resident performer. After finally settling in North Carolina, she became an active participant in various theatres throughout the Raleigh and triangle area.
When not on stage, she has also worked as an event entertainer specializing in children's
characters for both parties and large scale events. This experience sparked her passion for
sharing her craft with children. Along with musical theatre and classical, she enjoys teaching several other genres and styles of singing including rock and pop. As an instructor, she loves implementing both conventional and unconventional teaching styles. Her belief is that all types of learners deserve the opportunity to learn how to create joy and flourish in their craft.
We welcome Candace to RnRHS as our primary vocal instructor!
